Carbonroq® Kuro Bara
5 Piece Knife set & Leather Roll
Kuro Bara meaning "Black Rose" in Japanese, lends its name to these knives due to their Rosewood and Black Micarta handles.
An Exquisitely hand crafted Japanese Knife Set. Hammer Forged 1095 and 15N20 - 212 layer Damascus Steel with a hardness of 63 HRC.
The Rosewood has an almost iridescent tiger stripe appearance and compliments the patterned blades beautifully.
The 5 piece Japanese Knife set consists of
Guyutou. More commonly known as the Chef Knife.
Santoku. Probably the most recognizable of the knives with its distinctive curved tip.
Sujihiki. A long thin blade - excellent for slicing and carving.
Petty. Small and extremely sharp. Known as a Pairing Knife or Fruit Knife.
Nakiri. Based on the Chinese Cleaver. This is a rectangular blade unrivaled in vegetable chopping.
Each set is unique and is presented in a bespoke genuine leather knife roll.
